I have a NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4200 and am trying to use Aero Glass. I does not work at all when I try to turn it on in the color scheme. What do I have to do to turn this on?
I am also unable to find out how how to use Flip 3D and Windows Flip. If someone could help me with that, it would be great.

Unfortunately, it seems your card is not supported. The minimum requirements is a WDDM enabled card with support for Direct X 9, 64-MBs of VRAM. Windows Flip/Flip 3d is a feature of the Windows Aero Glass experience. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

I have a NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4200 and cannot use Aero Glass. I tried installing the Vista drivers from the Nvidia website and it said that it cannot find a hardware for the drivers. Is there something else I can do to make this work?
I am also unable to use Windows Flip and Flip 3D, is there a place where I have to turn this on?

You need to have the appropriate WDDM drivers. Go to Start, Run then type in compmgmt.msc then hit OK. Click on the Device Manager and click the + button to where your display hardware is. If it says WDDM, then it's fine. If not, then the drivers aren't installed properly or your card is incompatible.
Download the latest drivers from the NVidia site, then right click on your display adapter in the Device Manager, and click Update Driver. If after that WDDM is displayed next to your card, then you'll be able to get Aero Glass.

How about the nVidia GeForce FX 5200? This product is shown as definitely being supported on the nVidia Website by their Vista beta 2 driver. However, after downloading and installing the driver package, it says that it has no drivers for this chipset.
Got any ideas? This chipset is on my Toshiba P25-S507 notebook.
Also,
on my new Dell box, the nVidia GeForce 6800 chipset is WDDM, but I'm not sure if I'm getting Aero Galss. The frames of all the windows seem pretty opaque. Is there a setting to change this?

If its a notebook, would it not be nVidia Geforce FX 5200 GO? Its not listed as supported: http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_x86_supported_87.45.html -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

GeForce 4 is not a supported product.
Page 9 of the release notes lists the supported cards. http://download.nvidia.com/Windows/88.61/88.61_ForceWare_Release_Notes.pdf

I have a 7800GT and the WDDM drivers are installed and Vista still won't let me use the Aero Glass or the 3d flip. Any one know why this would be? I can access the menu with the aero glass option and its unchecked when i check it and hit ok nothing happens doesnt even close that window.

I have a NVIDIA GeForce4 4200Ti and am unable to use Windows Movie Maker, Windows DVD Maker, and Aero Glass. I checked device manager and the video card is working.
